Aldbrough Road c 1910

The photograph shows Aldbrough Road where the War Memorial now is. The memorial would be erected in the area straight ahead in about 1920.
so this dates the photo to around 1910.
On the left as we look are Rose Cottage and White Cottage, both still in existance today.
In the distance is St Alban's Church and Church Lane, we think the cottages in the centre background are what is now the three new detached houses.
