The close up view below more clearly shows the two shops
and some of the locals posing for the photograph.
In the distance is a very large horse drawn vehicle of some sort.
Main Street 1908
This excellent photo from 1908 shows both sides of Main Street.
The scene actually hasn't changed much, all the buildings are still there today.
The big change is the loss of Wilsrop Ellis' (nearest) shop and the Post
Office.
