James Fisher 
During World War 1

James was born in the village in 1892.
He was a member of the very extensive Fisher family,
he was a cousin of Alwyn, John Fisher.
  
His branch of the family lived in 2 Lynton Terrace.
  
James survived the war and died in 1953 aged 61.

He married Madelaine Spriggs and together they had
eigvenht children - Owen, Sheila, John, George, Victoria,
Victor and Valerie.
