George was born in Hornsea in 1874.
He was the son of John and Mary Witty.
At some point he moved to Witherwick and lived with other
members of the Witty Family in Withernwick Hall where they were farmers.
He married Eva Stephenson (b Hornsea 1875).
he eventually died in 1948 aged about 73.
The photo shows him with a bicycle of the period.
