The Easter Egg Hunt - Easter Monday - 5th April 2010

It was an overcast Bank Holiday Monday but it didn't dampen the spirits of the children or families that arrived in
The Falcon, Withernwick to partake in the inaugural Easter Egg Hunt.
For a small donation, families collected their question sheets and set off around the village to discover interesting and sometimes silly facts about the place in which they live, in addition to getting a bit of exercise and spending time with fellow villagers, friends and neighbours. The Route took in sights such as St Albans Church, the War Memorial, Public Rights of Way and even the Post box! The Treasure Hunters were made up of all ages and included two dogs, Mable and Bertie who helped sniff out the clues!
