Athur and (Alice) Matilda Carr

Arthur was born in Catwick c 1877 but by about 1905 he had moved to Withernwick,
by this time he was married to (Alice) Matilda (she was born in Roos c 1876) and by then they already had four children - Alice, George, Elsie and Arthur all of whom would have been brought up in Withernwick.
While in the village, they had three further children - William, Clara and Ethel. Click here to see some photos of Ethel.

As the above invoice to Jack Fell shows, Arthur was a joiner, wheelright and undertaker.
